Thomas Lemmer interprets Erik Satie’s Gymnopédies

When one deals with the roots of ambient music, one inevitably comes into contact with Erik Satie at some point. In 1920, Erik Satie composed “Music as Furniture”, which can be seen as an early form of ambient music.
Satie’s most famous work is the Gymnopédie No. 1, which he composed in 1888 with two other works.
Thomas Lemmer interprets Erik Satie’s Gymnopédies in a lovingly produced and timelessly beautiful version.
