Stephen Weber, professor of music and interdisciplinary studies and chair of the division of arts and humanities at The University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma, a public liberal arts university. My Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees are in music education and piano performance, and terminal degree is a Ph. D. In Fine Arts with soecializations in composition and piano pedagogy. Though I was trained as a classical pianist and organist, I am primarily a composer and music creator. I have written over 400 compositions, many of which are in print through publishing companies. My creative works span multiple genres, styles, and instrumentations including classical, pop, rock, ambient, electronic, orchestral, minimal, cinematic/film music, jazz, improvisation, and others. My goals as a composer and music creator are to evoke, emote, to strive for quality craftsmanship and artistry, to create an immersive world for the listener, and to seek beauty in its many guises. I have also performed or presented research in 7 countries. I have been a member of ASCAP since 1994.
